Privacy Policy

Get Viral Vids (“we”, “us”) operates getviralvids.com, a research tool that shows creators and businesses the top-performing short-form videos for any topic. Questions about this policy can be submitted through the Support section of your dashboard.

• Account data. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your name and profile picture from your Google account.
• Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your plan, billing cycle, and a Stripe customer reference; we never see or store your card number.
• Usage data. Your searches, campaigns, saved videos, and credit history — that history is a feature of the product, not a byproduct.
• Technical data. IP addresses for security and rate limiting. For the free pre-signup analyzer we store only a one-way hash of your IP with a daily counter, which cannot be reversed into your address.
• Analyzer input. If you use “Analyze my product”, the link or description you submit and the public text of that page are processed to generate your profile.
• Support tickets. The messages you submit through the Support section of your dashboard, so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use them solely to create and display your account profile inside Get Viral Vids. We do not sell Google user data, share it with third parties beyond the service providers that operate our infrastructure (strictly as needed to run the service), use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security, or where required by law. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• To provide the service: run searches, save your work, manage credits.
• To generate AI analyses: video captions, stats, transcripts, and your product profile are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API) to produce reports and breakdowns.
• To send transactional email (sign-in links, receipts, credit notices), delivered through our email provider, SendGrid.
• To generate AI videos and slideshows, if you connect your own fal.ai account: your script-derived prompts are sent to fal.ai for generation, and your fal.ai API key is stored encrypted (AES-256), used only to run the renders you request, never displayed after saving, and deleted the moment you disconnect it or delete your account. fal.ai bills you directly under its own terms and privacy policy. Generated files are stored for 12 months from creation (each shows its expiry date), and you can download or delete them at any time before then. Avatar photos you upload are processed by fal.ai to generate your videos; upload only images of people whose likeness you have the right to use — you confirm this at upload. Uploaded photos stay private to your account and you can delete them at any time. AI-generated avatars work differently: they depict original fictional people, are created and owned by Get Viral Vids, and join a shared avatar library that every eligible member can browse and use in their own videos — you receive a license to use them, not ownership, and they cannot be deleted by individual users. Any member can report an avatar, and we may remove any avatar from the library at our discretion (for example, for objectionable content); if an avatar you created or assigned to a campaign is removed, we notify you by email.
• To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising or ad-tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in.

Search results show statistics and captions of publicly available videos from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Videos play through each platform's own embedded player and open on the original platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all its data yourself at any time from Settings → Danger zone in your dashboard — deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Payment and tax records (e.g. Stripe invoices) are retained by our payment processor as required by law. For other data requests, such as access or export, submit a ticket through the Support section of your dashboard.

Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA — you have the right to access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of your personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. You can exercise deletion yourself at any time (see Retention & deletion above); for access or export requests, submit a ticket through the Support section of your dashboard. We do not sell or share your personal data as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Get Viral Vids is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If we make material changes to this policy we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
